"Advanced Shot-making"
We also offer a Camp on "Advanced Shot-making", which includes actual on-course playing at White Oaks Golf Club. ". where they not only receive great instruction on trouble shots, working the ball, coping with difficult lies, wind play, and more, but also on "Golf Course Management", (playing smarter). We will also include some of the very best drills from a number of the finest Instructors in America…. Drills to help hone their skills, but which also make practicing more fun and effective. Kids play two 9-hole rounds of golf at White Oaks Golf Club, and actually receive playing lessons from their two PGA Professionals.

"Advanced Class" Details
Players who have previously attended our "Full Swing" and "Short-game" camps, or have had some previous instruction are eligible to move on to our "Advanced Class". We will concentrate on turning a good swing into a great swing, hone technique on the scoring shots, emphasis on Golf Course Management, handling trouble situations, and making sure that students understand about the importance of proper practice routines.

Students will attend Family Golf Oakville for 3 days (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and for 2 days attend White Oaks Golf Club (Wednesday & Friday) for an actual on-course coaching sessions, a personalized lesson summary binder, and an individual video analysis with a written report. We will review basic rules, courtesy and etiquette, and tournament preparation.

  • Each day, players will have 2 Instruction sessions (about 60 minutes) Supervised coaching session where they use learning drills and teaching aids Course content that has not yet been received in either previous golf camp To learn wind, club selection, 'smart landing targets', and controlling trajectory, they play on 3 hole, par 3 course every day
  • On the final day, they will have a 9 hole coaching lesson at White Oaks Golf Club, a very fine course for young players
  • We have team competitions, as well as "putting shoot-outs" so that the players not only have fun while learning, but, they try their best
  • Emphasis is on getting to proper technique, so they can build on a solid foundation
  • Classes will have a maximum of 12 players per class, with 2 Instructors
WHEN; Classes start the last week of June and run until the last week of August
FORMAT; Kids come for 5 weekdays, for 4 hours per day (1PM-5PM)
FOOD; Please bring your own snack or purchase chips, ice cream, pop, water at the center
RAIN-DATES / MAKEUP'S; We have 40 covered tees, so that we can still have tee-line coaching and hitting even with rain. If a youngster cannot attend a certain day, the kids can do a makeup class during any other Advanced Class.
COST; For a 5-day golf week, the cost is $369.00, including taxes, binder, video analysis and two rounds at the White Oaks Golf Club.
