"Golf For The Physically Challenged"
A no-charge program we run for people who have suffered physical set-backs such as amputation, brain trauma, strokes, paraplegics, loss of sight etc. They run at capacity, (up to 40 people), twice a week.... wonderful physical and emotional therapy.
When; we run them Monday and Wednesday afternoon, 1 PM to 3:00 PM
What; we give Challenge Golfers instruction to allow them to hit balls
Special Equipment; for people with balance concerns, we have special seats with large Velcro straps that prevent any falls, and give golfers confidence.
Cost; there is no charge to participants for the program.
Events; we put on an annual Bar-B-Q, and great fun.
Volunteers; we have the kindest, most caring volunteers that you could ever imagine... They make the program work, in an atmosphere of great fellowship and friendship.

"Golf for Special Olympians"
We offer learning and playing for "special Olympians", in an atmosphere of fun, and lots of laughter. They get golf instruction, then on to the tee-line for hitting, followed by a putting shoot-out.
When; Every Saturday morning in summer.
Events; we have a Bar-B-Q every second month, and participants can come during the week and hit balls / play mini-golf at no charge.
Cost; there is no charge to participants for this program.
