We have a lower Instructor / Student ratio, with lots of hands-on drills, supervised practice, and emphasis on playing smarter, correct technique, the Mental Game, and establishing a practice routine that will allow maximum improvement.

  • Format; 5, 90-minute lessons, 1 Lesson per week
  • Course Content follows the teachings of the finest PGA Instructors; Dr. Gary Wiren, Jim McLean, David Leadbetter, and Dave Pelz
  • Classes start with 30-35 minutes of live Instruction
  • Outside in our teaching area, (both Range and Short-Game area), we work with Teaching Aids and Learning Drills
  • Practice balls included in your fee
  • For every lesson, we give you a complete Lesson Summary

ADVANCED GOLF TECHNIQUES 2008

WHAT IS IT? An instructional program designed for players with several years experience who want to improve their overall game.

WHEN IS IT? It starts Wednesday April 23rd and continues for 5 weeks. It runs from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT?
LESSON 1 Review of grip, aim, setup, ball position, swing motion and balanced finish. The one plane and two plane swing are also covered. Use #9 or #7 iron.
LESSON 2 The full swing, ball flight laws, swing path, pivot, and wrist hinge. Video analysis of your swing. Basic rules of Golf. Use #7 or #5 iron.
LESSON 3 Equipment discussion: club fitting and how it affects your shots. Driving off the tee/fairway woods, fixing slices and hooks Cover the three most important parts the swing.
LESSON 4 The importance of the short game. Pitching and sand play. Understanding your wedges and distance control.
LESSON 5 When to pitch/chip. Types of putters, alignment and the putting stroke.

Players receive classroom instruction as well as training drills. Other topics discussed are course management and fitness training.

WHAT IS THE COST? $205.00 for a group of five 90 minute lessons. Taxes, balls, instruction and lesson binder are included.
